Chicken Noodle Soup

When you need a classic, the old ladies from church always have the right ingredients. With a little less salt and a little more crock pot we brought it back for a cold snowy day.

  • Slow Cooker


  • 2 lbs cut up chicken breast
  • 1 qt water
  • 4 medium carrots chopped
  • 4 medium stalks celery chopped
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 cups egg noodles (or favorite soup noodles)


  • Heat all ingredients with the exception of noodles on high for 4-6 hours.
  • Add noodles & cook for an additional 20 minutes or until noodles are soft.
